Ethnographic Fieldwork
Ethnography is the study and recording of human cultures. The purpose of ethnographic research within Aboriginal heritage is the identification and recording of Aboriginal sites through interviews and site inspections with Aboriginal consultants to record the site’s story. Sites may be significant to Aboriginal people for spiritual, social, aesthetic, and/or historical reasons.
